One Thing at a Time

The path to liberation from suffering cannot quite be called “spiritual” – it is simple, practical, and even closer than before your very eyes. With a splash of humor, the wisdom of many lessons learned, and simple pointing to the one thing we’ve missed, “One Thing at a Time” breaks the path down to one that allows for immediate transformation. In fact, it isn’t a path at all.

Exercises

The direct path does not require that we go outside of ourselves and the present moment in order to realize who we truly are and go beyond suffering. These exercises are simple illustrations of how we can “do” while keeping in mind the simple lesson: I am a Divine, Infinite being having the experience of a human being. In this, we do not get caught up in the exercise or use it to feel gratification or accomplishment. We refine the thinking mind by recognizing self-limiting beliefs and thought patterns, while simultaneously going beyond it to who we really, already are.

Yin Yoga – Beginning with deep stretching and shifting into a flowing practice, energy is opened, moved, and discharged to create space for a grounded meditation session.
